Dine Around

Hello Everyone,

Trying to keep up with two blogs is a lot so I've decided to make Blissful Tales of Professional Socialites more about my personal encounters and stories about this wonderful journey.

As we have worked our way down the road of turning Professional Socialites into a household name we realized that people really look at us as "Professional" Socialites. Friends contact us to ask what's the best club on a certain night or have we heard anything about a certain restaurant. It's kinda a cool position. You see when we Megan and I started going out all the time while we were in college people didn't believe us when we said we had a plan for all this. Now looking back there are so many people that I could tell "I told you so". Ha ha.

In our article in Premier Bride Magazine we talked about ways to make the traditional bridesmaids' luncheon creative by doing a dine around. Cool idea right? So I started thinking about how I would do it for myself. The concept behind the dine around is that you meet at one restaurant for appetizers, a second for your main entry, and a third for desert followed by drinks and dancing. There are so many great places in Houston so imagine this....

Galleria Area

Appetizers and Cocktails - Kona Grill

Desert - Berripop

Dancing and Drinks - Belevedere

Check out our article "Don't Forget to Enjoy" in Premier Bride Greater Houston Magazine!!

Tell me what you think everyone!

Crystal

A Wonderful Weekend at Home

I finally took the time out to make a trip home to Dallas to see my mom. I always have the best time with her and this trip she taught me how to string pearls. Check out my creation. Maybe there will be a bridal line in the future.

I'll have more pics as I have more fun with my new hobby. Thanks mom!!

Blissfully yours,
Crystal

My Beautiful Soror

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I have a very special picture of a beautiful bride but I promised the photographer I wouldn't post my pic until closer to her wedding date. She is getting married this Friday so I'll have more pictures to share but for now enjoy this very blissful sighting: Nkechi

P.S. Thank you to David Butler from King David Creations for bringing my Soror to Paraiso Maravilla.

Pink Cake Box

Pink Cake Box is the creation of blogger Anne Heap in New Jersey. Her creations are clearly out of the box.

Check out this party dress cake.

That's a cake? Yes, it is. A party dress cake created by Anne Heap of Pink Cake Box. Heap and her staff created the four-foot sour cream orange zest cake filled with pistachio and white chocolate buttercream for a cake contest in Somerset County.

Open Houses Con't

Campbell's Catering had their Open House on Tuesday night at Paraiso Maravilla. Courtney Campbell is one of the sweetest caterers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Here are some pictures from the Open House.

The furniture and centerpieces was provided by Darryl & Co.

Lounge areas allow you to personalize your cocktail reception. People like to be able to take a moment to sit down and catch up before the real party begins.

Comfort is always an A+!

Although this centerpiece is tall, it's still simple. It keeps the table feeling open and you can still see all the guest at the table.

You can do a bigger piece like this one you on your sign-in table.

Unique and Eye catching

Once again Candy Stations make anyone feel like a kid in a candy store.

It's also a creative way to pull more of your wedding colors into your reception.

These beautiful invitations were done by Event House.
Vivian J. Adeniyi at Event House is a talent. This was my first chance to see her invitations and I was blown away.

Very Simple

Classy and Personalized

The Definition of Class and Sophistication
(I think this would be a wonderful way to ask your bridesmaids to be a part of your day.)

The Renaissance Room was set up as a ceremony to seat 80 guests. Darryl & Co. supplied the candle walls and chair sashes.

This was another wonderful event at Paraiso Maravilla and I'll have more blissful tales to come.

Crystal
